“A Nightmare On Wub Street” Is A Nightmare We Don’t Ever Want To Wake Up From

I want you to close your eyes and picture this: You are in a graveyard, alone and scared with nobody around for miles. You start walking, looking for some sort of light or really anything living. With a glimmer of hope, you faintly hear music playing. As you get closer the music gets louder and louder until you see it staring right at you with empty eye sockets and a slack mouth. Doom is his name, the skeletal grim reaper who is here for your soul, and in his gaze your mind is robbed of emotion and sanity. As the drums and bass around you intensify you feel locked in. Instead of running, or screaming you stand still, frozen by fear and crippled by the bass that is bludgeoning your brain into oblivion.

All of a sudden, Doom beckons with fingers that rapidly faded to only a suggestion of form. As if being pulled in by a tractor beam, he lures you closer to his graveyard throne, the volume rising and the ground shaking from Doom’s satanic subwoofers. You begin to think new things, scary things, "I want to stay here… forever." The thought became a desire and your insides burn with an intensity to make it possible. Your body crumples to the mud, your body…changing. When you arise you cant find Doom anywhere. You look down into a puddle on the ground nearby and realize, you are Doom. You have become one with the demonic bass that is overloading your system.
