WHAT IS WUBAHOLICS?

Wubaholics Mission Statement

Wubaholics was born from a love of bass and a burning need to spread bass music to as many people as possible. We set out with one goal - building a brand and a platform for the best music that we can find to share with fellow Wubaholics all around the world. We understand that this life isn’t a choice, it is something that chooses you and once you go down the rabbit hole, there is no going back. That is why you need a guide! That’s where we come in.

 As your guide through your introduction to Wubaholism, we promise you a few things:

1. We will wub and accept you for who you are and enable your love of bass with a healthy dose of carefully curated subsonic frequencies.

2. We will provide you a community where you will feel safe and be able to share your love of bass music with your fellow Wubaholics.

3. We will never settle, and we will always push a wide range of forward thinking bass music because we love a variety of sounds and want the world to hear the music that we love!

In return all the we ask is that you realize resistance is futile. Let go of your old self and embrace your true self! The first step is admitting it.

The 12 Steps of Wubaholics Anonymous

1. We admitted we were powerless over our love for wubs- that our lives had become unmanageable without them.

2. We came to believe that the power of wubs could help restore us to sanity.

3. We made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of dubplates and 808s.

4. We made a searching and fearless subsonic inventory of ourselves through sound.

5. We admitted to those who we love the exact nature of our wub love and have tried to show them the way.

6. We are entirely ready to have lower frequencies remove all these defects of character.

7. We humbly ask the Bass Gods to remove our shortcomings and show us the meaning of Wubaholism.

8. We made a list of all persons we rage with and become family with through Wubs.

9. We ride with such people wherever possible, into the woods and warehouses and crowded rooms that call to us.

10. We continued to take subsonic inventory, and when we find new sounds we share them.

11. We sought through low frequencies and meditation to improve our conscious contact with the Bass Gods as we understood them, praying only for knowledge of their Wubs and for the power to spread the sound.

12. Having had a spiritual experience as a result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to other Wubaholics and practice these principles in all our affairs.
