Xotix drops new “Type III” EP

Happy Wednesday everybody, normally on a wednesday we would be giving you a new track release. But this week Wubaholics is bringing you a brand new EP from the one and only Xotix. The EP is titled “Type III” and consists of two absolute bangers; “Fallout” and “Elevation.” It will be out on October 14th and available on all platforms.

Fallout, which is premiering over on TheUntz.com, is just straight up filthy. Although there is a voice sample that gives you an attack warning and tells you to take cover with your family, you still will not be prepared when the drop hits. Your ears are filled with slimy bass that sounds like an alien feeding on its prey. The 2nd drop comes and is even nastier than the first. While it is a similar sound, it is as if a layer got peeled back to reveal an even deeper layer. If the song had a heart, Xotix makes it skip a beat in the song’s second drop. One can only imagine how hard it would slap to hear this live at a Lost Lands soundcamp at 2am catching vibes with the homies.

The second track on “Type III” is Elevation. The track has a fitting name, as the entire song makes you feel like you are in a rocket ship traveling through time and space with Xotix as your captain. The way he delivers a hard hitting bass line and pairs it up with higher frequency sounds is remarkable. High frequency sounds enter through your ears and bounce rapidly around in your brain as you simultaneously are getting hit with an aggressive bass that wobbles so hard even the boys over at Ganja White Knight would be proud.
