WUBAHOLICS PREMIERE: Hedron Uproots The System With His New Single “Turnip”

Happy Monday everyone, I hope you’ve been eating your fruits and vegetables, because this week we are premiering a track that is as farm to headphones as they come. Michigan-based producer Randy Alexander, a/k/a “Hedron” started the track called “Turnip” before departing for Electric Forest back in 2019 and has been perfecting it since then, telling us “It was started surrounding the hype and excitement of Electric Forest 2019 because it happened literally days before we left to go there” and from that excitement came this absolute banger. Oh, how we miss that excitement you get the week before leaving for a festival.

It’s no surprise that the energy of “Turnip” will have you turnt-up as soon as that bouncing melody hits your ears. The buildups adds tension perfectly, leading to Hedron’s signature sound design slapping you in the face like a cold winter morning and then completely uprooting your brain from your head. This song makes us miss festivals and sound systems, and we cant wait to hear this one being played out once we are safely back at shows.
